Studio Eleonora was created from a belief that a home should do more than look beautiful—it should support the way you live, feel, and heal. Our founder, Ella Mihov, launched the studio to bring a new perspective to interior design: one where wellness, architectural elegance, and intelligent technology are seamlessly interwoven to elevate the everyday.
Ella’s path into design wasn’t linear - With degrees in Biology and Economics from Duke and an MBA from Wharton focused on health innovation, she spent over a decade at Google shaping how people interact with their homes. As the product lead for the Nest smart home portfolio, she developed systems that improved air quality, lighting, and comfort—designing the technical frameworks that sit quietly behind today’s most intuitive living spaces.
Ella was immersed in design from an early age. Her mother, an architect, and her mother-in-law, a developer of luxury hotels in Dubai, exposed her to spaces where form, detail, and materiality mattered. Years of travel throughout Europe gave her a deep appreciation for classical architecture, proportion, and natural finishes. This layered foundation—health science, high-tech systems, and timeless design—became the backbone of Studio Eleonora’s philosophy.
We approach every project as a partnership. Collaboration is paramount—from the way we listen to our clients to the way we engage with local architects, artisans, and builders. We believe a well-designed space should reflect both the people who live in it and the land it sits on. That’s why we purposefully align our interiors with a property’s geography, architecture, and original character—enhancing rather than overwriting its identity.
Our work is grounded in science-backed wellness: clean air, quality water, circadian lighting, acoustics, EMF mitigation, and conscious material selection. . We bring in innovation where it belongs and design around how our clients live.
Studio Eleonora exists to create homes that feel effortlessly aligned with their owners—spaces that restore, inspire, and function beautifully for years to come.
